NARRATIVE REPORT (CLASS DISCUSSION)

I. Narrative Report for the day’s activities

Grade 12 STEM-4 students participated and made an effort to attend a class encounter led
and held by their subject adviser, Mrs. Veneranda G. Gulifrado. After Felicity Adan led the prayer
at 9:55 a.m., the orientation and discussion about the first lesson which is work ethics officially
began as our Work Immersion subject adviser shared a presentation. Our Work Immersion adviser
discussed the first lesson, which was all about work ethics, and we highlighted some of the
important topics that must be taken seriously in this first lesson. Work ethics, on the other hand,
is the proper attitude that we exhibit, particularly at work. It is also a set of values that will shine
through, particularly if you have a strong desire and passion for your chosen profession.

Along with that, there is a reason why the importance of worker attendance in a workplace is a
must for a reason that, It is a reflection of the values and priorities that you hold as an individual.
Moving on, we have the Character of a Worker, which demonstrates your passion and
commitment to your work performance, and under that, we have the following values that we
must consider when working: honesty, trustworthiness, initiative, motivation, enthusiastic,
industrious, and hardworking. Furthermore, under work ethics, there are ten important things that
we must be aware of in order to use it as a guide when we are already working. These are
attendance, character, appearance, attitude, productivity, organizational skills, communication
skills, cooperation, and, most importantly, respect for your coworkers regardless of gender,
ethnicity, or life status. We had to end our class early due to time constraints, and the continuation
of this lesson will be discussed again at the next meeting. After that, Jude Bernardino led the
closing prayer, which officially ended our class at 11:40 a.m.

II. Learnings

The lesson taught me the importance of having a good attitude, respect and a pleasing personality
when working and To elaborate, it is when someone is sincere, flexible, courteous, tolerant,
respectful, funny, and all-around likable. They are the people who aren't afraid to smile and make
others feel good about themselves, and they are also good listeners and conversationalists. They
handle situations well and express their opinions in an agreeable manner. People with pleasing
personalities typically enjoy people and interacting with others, and we must take our work
seriously for a reason that, we enjoy what we do and what we're good at, for the simple reason
that when you're good and compassionate towards something, It even implies that you love it
enough to not be unhappy at work, or else you wouldn't be good at it in the first place.
Furthermore, you will not put your love in jeopardy under any circumstances, and you can pursue
your love as a hobby or whatever- without the pressure of earning money. Also, what appears to
be love may be difficult to sustain over time because it may be nothing more than an illusion
based on fleeting interests, and as a result, you may fail to achieve the competence required to be
called good, and your career may begin to fall apart depending on the situation that you are
currently in.
III. Realizations

After our class discussion, I realized that, Respect is very important, especially when it comes to
socializing, and it demonstrates not only your education but also your family and the environment
in which you were raised. People nowadays believe that if they disrespect someone, it will make
them look cool, and that this shit makes them cool, but this is not the case until we experience the
same insult. Respecting others not only helps us become better people, but it also helps us
maintain good relationships with those around us, whether they are neighbors, friends, or
relatives. Respecting people distinguishes you from others. Most people pay attention to and like
to talk to those who respect and value the other person. Finally, we should always keep in mind
that not everyone deserves our respect, and we should only give it to those who only deserves it.
