As the head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, It is my great pleasure to

recommend Mr. Hetul Kalpesh Thakar who is applying for his postgraduate studies at your
acclaimed University. I have had the pleasure of teaching Hetul for the past two years and I
can confidently endorse him as a responsible and diligent student.

I taught him Rapid Prototyping in his academic curriculum where I learned that he is among
the most curious and enthusiastic students who also has a strong technical knowledge. I know
this because he always approached me with a lot of questions regarding designing and
working of different mechanical systems, their testing, and applications. Hetul also has a
great understanding of Additive manufacturing technology and its industrial utilization,
which can be evidently described by his work on the 3D Printer Re-engineering project of
third semester.

In the course of our time together, Hetul proved to be a bright, hardworking, and attentive
student. He also took part in numerous workshops and projects throughout his
undergraduate. One among all is his undertaking about “Space Debris Assembler” which
received sparkling opinions from both his peers and other professors. He has splendid
leadership, management, and team-working skills and Hetul is also the kind of person who
does not easily give up a problem unless and until it is completely solved.

Considering his overall academic performance, skills as well as extra-curricular activities I

would rate him in the top 5% of students I have come across in his batch. After having a
detailed conversation with Hetul about his aspiration, his passion for exploring new paths of
innovation, and his keen interest to achieve specialized education, I strongly believe that he
