THE POWER OF THE PRESS TO CHANGE DESTINIES OR SITUATIONS

Intro- press the forth power in contemporary state organisation/ mass media organ of spreeding
informations/ sensible and senzitive impact/ power to influence opinions/ behaviours/ I believe the
press has the power to change things in good
Arg for- educate/ empathy/ increase sense of solidarity/ promoting international or local humanitarian
movements=> some people would want to take part too
Arg for- spreding infos about different fields- job announcements/ inspiring articles
Arg against- mass media as mean of manipulation of population/ news that can create panic among
people/disimulate/ FAKE NEWS
Conclusion- there would always be newsmen and the ones who promoted televisions and newspapers
that would try to use press as a weapon against peace, sense of security/ I think that, overall, as long as
any of us stay informed from granted sources, the benefits of the mass media activity would have a
possitive effect in the developing society we are linving today

From its invention till today, press has been a modality to inform people of the historical times they
live, representing the restless voice of truth and liberty that unmasks politicians` corruption. However,
after the censorship and propaganda era of totalitarian regimes had past, the mass media became a
major factor in changing not only people` views and behaviour, but also political and economic
situations. Due to the influence it has upon citizens lives, I consider press to be the forth power in state
nowadays.
First of all, mass media exploits one the main mean of human communication: the word. The way
words are used to transmit information, the way they are used to form phrases among the usage of
other nonverbal, paraverbal, audio or visual stimuli represents the sensitive part of the message that
touch the emotional barriers of human mind. This is way, people` regard towards an event might be
changed by press intervention. For instance,
