Since the University of Mindanao has stairs in every building it is a good idea
to perform stair-climbing as an alternative way of exercise while at school. It
can be performed individually or with a group.
In terms of the steps in order to perform this exercise you should use your
whole foot on the step. Then, keep your upper body tilted forward and
maintain a straight posture. Lastly, push from your hamstrings and glutes.
One tip to perform this physical activity effectively is to avoid using just toes
on your steps, this will make your body moving directly up and down which
cause you easily get panting.
