Rationale of the Project

One of the main goals of the National Service Training Program (NSTP), is to prepare students
for their services for the community. The proposed program aims for that as well. As students, we are
part of the community which we should also take care of and maintain. To do our part, our group has
come up with a proposal for a community project that will be helpful for us and to the environment as
well.

Beaches are one of the most famous tourist spots for both locals and foreign people. One of
these beaches is Boracay de Cavite. Due to its visitors, there are trashes that can be left by them after
visiting. Waste materials like these can cause the degradation of the environment and can ruin the
serenity and beauty of Boracay de Cavite. Our project is a clean-up drive for the beach to maintain its
beauty and cleanliness. Our group would want to participate in maintaining the environment and doing
our part in taking care of it.
