 Unusual sound from the TV
FAQs  Whirring sound of cooling fan may be heard from
inside the TV (not a sign of faulty operation).

Before requesting service or assistance, please follow

these simple guides to solve the problem.
 For details, refer to [eHELP] (Support > FAQs).
The TV does not switch on
 Check the mains lead is plugged into the TV and the
mains socket.
The TV goes into Standby mode
 Auto power standby function is activated.
Parts of the TV become hot
 Parts of the TV may become hot. These temperature
rises do not pose any problems in terms of
performance or quality.
When pushed with a finger, the display panel moves
slightly and makes a noise
 There is a little gap around the panel to prevent
damage to the panel. This is not a malfunction.

The remote control does not work or is intermittent

 Are the batteries installed correctly? (p. 17)
 Has the TV been switched on?
 The batteries may be running low. Replace them with
new ones.
 Point the remote control directly at the TV’s remote
control signal receiver (within about 7 m and a
30 degree angle of the signal receiver).
 Situate the TV away from sunshine or other sources
of bright light so they do not shine on the TV’s remote
control signal receiver.

No image is displayed
 Check the TV is turned on.
 Check the mains lead is plugged into the TV and the
mains socket.
 Check the correct input mode is selected.
 Check the setting of [AV] ([COMPONENT] / [VIDEO])
in [Input Selection] to match the signal being output
by the external equipment.
 Is [Backlight], [Contrast], [Brightness] or [Colour] in
the Picture Menu set to the minimum?
 Check all required cables and connections are firmly
in place.

An unusual image is displayed

 This TV has a built-in Self Test. Makes a diagnosis of
picture or sound problems.

Veelgestelde vragen
Probeer eerst het probleem op te lossen aan de hand
van de volgende eenvoudige richtlijnen voordat u hulp
inroept.

Een extern apparaat geeft abnormaal beeld of geluid
bij aansluiting via HDMI
 Stel [HDMI autom. Instellen] (menu Instellingen) in op
[Modus 1] (p. 13)
Ongebruikelijk geluid van de tv
 Een zoemend geluid van de koelventilator kan
hoorbaar zijn vanuit de tv (dit wijst niet op een defect).

De tv gaat niet aan Onderdelen van de tv worden warm

 Controleer of de stekker van het netsnoer in de tv en  Onderdelen van de tv kunnen heet worden. Deze
in het stopcontact zit. temperatuurverhoging vormt geen probleem voor de
prestaties en de kwaliteit.

De tv schakelt over naar de stand-bystand

 De automatische stand-byfunctie is geactiveerd. Als u met uw vinger op het beeldscherm drukt,
beweegt hij een beetje en maakt hij geluid
 Er is een beetje ruimte rond het paneel om schade
De afstandsbediening werkt niet of slechts af en toe eraan te voorkomen. Dit is normaal.
 Zijn de batterijen op de juiste manier geplaatst?

 Is de tv ingeschakeld?
 De batterijen zijn wellicht leeg. Vervang deze door
nieuwe.
 Wijs met de afstandsbediening recht naar de
signaalontvanger van de afstandsbediening op de tv
(binnen ongeveer 7 m afstand en een hoek van
30 graden van de ontvanger).
 Zorg ervoor dat de signaalontvanger van de
afstandsbediening op de tv niet is blootgesteld aan
zonlicht of ander fel licht.

 Controleer of de tv aan staat.
 Controleer of de stekker van het netsnoer in de tv en
in het stopcontact zit.
 Controleer of de juiste ingangsmodus is geselecteerd.

 Controleer of alle vereiste kabels goed zijn

 De tv heeft een ingebouwde zelftestfunctie. Stelt een
diagnose van beeld- of geluidsproblemen.

Verwijder eerst de stekker van het  TV
netsnoer uit het stopcontact.

Veeg de buitenkant van het beeldscherm, de behuizing Afmetingen (B × H × D)
of de standaard voorzichtig af met een zachte doek om
vuil of vingerafdrukken te verwijderen. 58 inch-model

Voor hardnekkig vuil: 1 297 mm × 804 mm × 334 mm (met standaard)

(1) Verwijder eerst het stof van de buitenkant. 1 297 mm × 759 mm × 64 mm (alleen tv)
(2) Bevochtig een zachte doek met schoon water of 65 inch-model
een opgelost neutraal schoonmaakproduct (1 deel
1 457 mm × 888 mm × 334 mm (met standaard)
schoonmaakproduct op 100 delen water).
(3) Wring de doek goed uit. (Laat geen vloeistof in de tv 1 457 mm × 844 mm × 64 mm (alleen tv)
komen omdat hij daardoor defect kan raken.)
(4) Veeg hardnekkig vuil weg met een vochtige doek. Gewicht

 Gebruik geen harde of ruwe doek en wrijf niet hard op 27,5 kg netto (alleen tv)
het oppervlak omdat u daardoor krassen kunt maken. 65 inch-model
 Zorg dat er geen insecticiden, oplosmiddelen, 42,5 kg netto (met standaard)
verdunners of andere vluchtige stoffen met de tv in 34,5 kg netto (alleen tv)
aanraking komen. Hierdoor kan de kwaliteit van het

Waarschuwing
