5.        National Institute  for  Micro,  Small National  Conference  on  ‘Women Proposal  not  approved  since  the  event  had

6.        Nutrition Foundation of India, New International  Symposium  on  ‘Maternal  and    RAC approved a grant of Rs. 1.00 lakh

7. All India Management Institute, National  Conference  on  ‘Women  in RAC  approved  a  lump  sum  grant  of  Rs.  2.25
New Delhi Leadership Roles­The Way Forward’ lakh
8. Institute of Media Studies,
Bhubneswar State level Workshop on ‘PNDT Act and its RAC  approved  a  grant  of  Rs.  85,600/­.  The
Implications  on  Female  Feticide  and Organisation  to  be  asked  to  supply  particulars
Infanticide in Orissa’ of resource persons.
9. International  Women  Film 4th India International Women Film Festival­
Festival Society of India, Kolkata 08 at Sri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi Approved a token grant of Rs. 2.25 lakh.

B. RESEARCH/STUDY PROPOSALS
  RESEARCH PROPOSAL RE­CONSIDERED BY RAC
1. Association  of  Development A  Study  on  Suicides  and  Coping Proposal approved with a project budget
Initiative, New Delhi Mechanisms Adopted by Rural Women of          Rs. 5.55 lakh

2. Socio­Economic  Research ‘Unpaid Work By Women in Urban Areas’ The proposal was  re­considered.  After  detailed

Centre(SERC), New Delhi discussions  a  revised  project  budget  of
Rs.4,17,112/­,  as  per  details  given  at
Appendix­A,  was  approved  as  against  and  in
lieu  of    Rs.  3,62,775/­  approved  earlier  by
RAC     held on 4.7.2008.
