• Description of the system:

Olx is the largest E-Commerce site in Pakistan. OLX connects local people to buy, sell or
exchange used good and services enabling people to post a listing through their mobile
or on the web. Olx makes it easier for the user to browse, to view and to select a
specified item through numerous categories available. It is a system that lets seller and
buyer connect with each other for the sale and purchase of an item. Olx is also active in
over 105 countries with strengths in Latin America and Asia, supporting over 40
languages.

• Task and Features:

➢ Task:
▪ Search a mobile phone/ Web system in location of specific city.
▪ Search needed product and contact with that person by pushing call
button or through texting.
▪ Search any product and start a conversation with the seller by using chat
button to know about details.
▪ Post an ad of any category product and mention all the detail related
with that product.
▪ Login and user and post a featured ad of your product in the related
category.

▪ In which customer free and easy Signup.
▪ Sellers free and easy posting of their advertisements.
▪ Great selection of classified ads under 8 major categories.
▪ Sponsored Ads feature for better exposure of ads.
▪ You can highlight your Ads.
▪ OLX provides the seller the location through google map.
▪ OLX provides Call feature is easy to contact with the seller and buyer.
▪ Olx also provides the subcategories of the main categories it would help
to search for user.

• Observations recorded for each user:
1. First user is male and his age is 15 years old. His experience in using this system is
good. And he also visited some similar sites.
2. Second user is female her age is 21 years old. Her experience is good. But she didn’t
manage to perform all the needed task.
3. Third user is male his age 22 years old. His experience is perfect.
4. Fourth user is male his age is 52 years old. His experience is perfect. He also visited
similar webs.
5. Fifth user is female her age is 29 years old. Her is experience better nor good. She
didn’t do her work properly.
6. Sixth user is female her age is 35 years old. Her experience wasn’t so good. She also
visited some other sites too.
7. Seventh user male his age is 15 years old. His experience is totally not good. And
also, he visited some other sites.
8. Eight user is male his age is 24 years old. His experience half good and half bad. He
also visited other sites.
9. Ninth user is male his age is 48 years old. His experience is good. But he visited
others webs too.
10. Tenth is make his age is 33 his experience wasn’t so good. Didn’t make it on his need
properly.

• User`s Feedback/Suggestions obtained through

Interviews/Questionnaires:
Overall the sites experience of the user is good. But people suggested some changed of
issues regarding this system like filter should have been on the front page. One of the
user also suggested that there should be a separated category for the products which
are available on installments. If looks on the interview from people overall system is
satisfied and trust worthy.

• Recommendations to improve the usability of the system:

1. There should be an option for user to check whether new, used or installments
product.
2. There should be an option for changing languages.
3. There should be access for registered user to view their buying/selling history for
better achievement of search for products.
