Godrej Capital is looking to hire from campus for the role of Credit Manager. The core
objective of this role will be to drive credit underwriting for Home Loans, Loan Against
Property and the upcoming Business Loan segments. The Credit Manager will work in close
association with the Sales as well as the Operations team and the Business & Credit teams in
the associated region. The Credit Manager will be a part of the key team members who will
contribute towards building a healthy risk portfolio of Godrej Capital.

Function Risk (Underwriting)
Job Purpose The role incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end credit
underwriting and disbursal of (Home Loan/ Loan Against Property/
Business Loans) retail loans.
Role • Credit assessment and underwriting of loan applications based
on product and policy norms – end to end from login to disbursal
of loans
• Appraising loan applications for credit worthiness ensuring
adherence to KYC norms, credit bureau assessment and
financials
• Disbursal of loans including all checks and verifications
• Coordination with legal, technical and processing vendors and
training of vendors and vendor staff on processes and polices
• In-person meetings and discussions with clients
• Responsible for maintaining the processing TAT
• Participate in and clear regular internal and external audits
• Vendor management, including quality monitoring
Qualification & • Mandatory Qualification – MBA in Finance
experience • Good to have – Good knowledge of reading P&L / Balance Sheet
and financial ratios
Essential skills • Adhere to expected TAT without compromising on quality
• Taking of initiatives, strong execution skills, forward thinking
