- 19.07-snapshot 25 July 2019, containing LuCI

boot.bin
- for installing via TP-Link's web UI

tp_recovery.bin
- for installing via TFTP

Installing via Web-UI

---------------------
File required: boot.bin

Log into the router at 192.168.0.1.

Upload the boot.bin via TP-Links firmware upgrade tool in the

web-interface.

Installing via TFTP

-------------------
File required: tp_recovery.bin

Place tp_recovery.bin in root directory of TFTP server and listen on

192.168.0.66/24.

Connect router LAN ports with your computer and power up the router
while pressing the reset button. The router will download the image via
tftp and after ~1 Minute reboot into OpenWRT.
Upgrading to latest release
---------------------------
Always update to the latest release before installing any packages:

eg.
for when OpenWrt 19.07.x 'stable' is eventually released later this year,
download 'tplink_C50-v4-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin' from here:

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07.x/targets/ramips/mt76x8/

(where 'x' is '0', '1', '2', etc)

Otherwise, for the very latest OpenWrt 19.07-snapshot (includes LuCI),

download 'tplink_C50-v4-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin' from here:

https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/19.07-SNAPSHOT/targets/ramips/mt76x8/

Use LuCI to install the new sysupgrade.bin image file. It is recommended

to untick the 'Keep Settings' check box. This will erase all customo settings.

How to revert from OpenWRT to TP-Link firmware

----------------------------------------------
Refer to OpenWRT-to-TPlink- readme.txt contained in the following
folder for more instructions:

How to unbrick C50 v4

---------------------
If the router becomes bricked and factory reset procedure fails to resolve
the issue, then consider using above 'Installing via TFTP' to install the
custom tp_recovery.bin included in the zip file.
