I.Accomplishment Report

A. Personal Background

Jan Ric B Notarion, Jr. is the eight in the brood of ten of Jan Ric, Sr. and Jason Lugro.

Born on October 21, 1978 at barangay Tiniguangan, Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur, he finished
his Elementary School (1992) and his high school at Co Tek Chun National Trade School (1996),
Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur. In 2001, he earned his degree in Batchelor of Science in
Criminology at the Pagadian Capitol College (PCC) in Tuburan District. Pagadian City.

Notarion also underwent a religious formation during his college years with Congregation of the
Rogationists of Followers of Jesus. Both institutions recognized Notarion’s exemplary academic
performance, hence conferred him the following:

< Number One Medalist for Thesis Writing and Defense.

Prior to police service, he worked as Project Officer, later Project Unit Coordination, Lakas Sa
Kauswagan, Incorporated (2002-2005), a Non-Government Organization that provides financial
assistance to micro-entrepreneurs, Mall’s in Pagadian City (2005). His trainings and experiences
in both assignment made him a more versatile, multi-faceted, and well-rounded person

He is now married with a policewoman, POII Kimberly Lapuan, with whom he has a 2-year old
daughter, Jane faith Notarion.

B. Entry to the Police Service and Previous Assignments

The promising career of Notarion with private corporations saw its end when he joined the
government service as member of the Philippine National Police on December 20, 2005 at the
age of 35.

As police trainee, Notarion’s versability and natural sense of leadership earned him the respect
and confidence of his colleagues, making him the President of Public Safety Basic Recruit
Course 07-02-04. Upon their graduation.
