E-Portfolio Task #8: Picture Collage

 Each of us has our own most precious possessions in life, whether they be our closest loved
ones, such as our family, friends, classmates, or acquaintances, or perhaps our beloved pets, or even
material possessions. We value and give importance to these things for several reasons, including
the fact that we have priceless memories connected to them. These things not only provide us with a
great deal of joy, excitement, and entertainment, but they also teach us important lessons that we
can apply to our everyday lives. They mean a lot to us, as they give us a reason to live our life to the
fullest. In addition, they play a significant role in our lives by contributing to the development of our
personalities and character. However, some people disregard them because they don't believe they
are necessary to have, whereas, for me, they are very important.

I have gathered the things in my life that I value most, as you can see from the “Photo
Collage” above, which composes of my dearest pet, my beloved family, my treasured classmates,
and finally my precious friends from elementary up until today. They all contributed significantly to
the growth of my character over the years. My pet, my family, and my friends taught me a lot of
things, including how to love, value, and give importance to those we are close to. My pet dog brings
me joy and entertainment. As well as, it also cheers me up when I'm down or having a bad day.
When my family is away, especially when I'm alone, it keeps me company and alleviates my
loneliness. Aside from my beloved pet, my family and friends have also imparted many lessons to me
that will improve the quality of my life. Additionally, it assists me in realizing my abilities and skill set.
They gave me proof that things like limitless love and care exist. They accepted me for who I am
despite my flaws, as well as for the faults that I had done to them while being able to ask for their
forgiveness. As a result, I am also able to be completely honest with myself when I am around them.
They also accompanied me when I was feeling down or depressed. They have supported me during
my most trying times, and I hope that one day they will stick by me until I fulfill the dreams that are
fueled by their inspiration and motivation. Last but not least, because they have helped me so
frequently, I also value my classmates who have been with me for many months. They continue to
make me feel like I belong to the group even though we attended different schools and don't know
one another. Whenever I went to school, they were there to keep me company.

In conclusion, the priceless treasures also reflect my material self because I treat them as if
they were my possessions and value them highly. They have helped greatly in molding me into the
person I am today and have been my light in guiding me in the right direction. I am appreciative to
have them in my life.
