R ole play situation Taking and leaving messages on the phone
Imagine you work as a receptionist and you receive a call from the secretary of a company you collaborate with.
They are calling to inform your manager that the date of the opening ceremony for their new shop has been
changed from April 4th to April 18th. Your manager is in a meeting, so you will have to take a message. Create the
conversation for this situation. Write it in your notebook. Get ready to role play this conversation when we come
back to class. Extra- points!!!

Jorge: Hello, good morning, talk to Jorge Lozano, Secretary of the President, how can I help you?

Sandra: Hi Jorge, my name is Sandra Rangel, secretary of the HLS company.

Jorge: Hi Sandra, Mr. Lizarazo is busy right now, he is in a meeting, but can you give me the reason?

Sandra: Ok, tell Mr. Lizarazo that the opening of the mall was postponed from April 4-8.

Jorge: Ok Sandra thank you very much, I will inform Mr. Lizarazo, good morning.
