To the Principal,

Podar International School,

Nanded - 431601

Subject - Messed up; upon my duties as the sports captain.

Dear sir/madam,
This is not something that would be expected from a student council
member at this point of time. At least not when all the ceremonies conducted are over and
we’re on the verge of graduating first boards. I’m ashamed and disappointed in myself to
inform you that I couldn’t be the sports captain, I promised the students I would be. There
were a lot of things that I could have done and ought to do. Definitely as the sports captain I
wasn’t able to do much by default due to the pandemic. But I really don’t see the case in the
same way towards social reforms and welfare schemes or counselling students personally,
all of which I have failed at. Not that I didn’t do anything at all to make things better but there
were many instances where I was too lazy to do so or, mostly, there are just too many
systemic loopholes that school has to fix within the council and decision-making process.
And neither do I decompensate with the present grade cut-off of 75% for being a member
nor do I excel at disciplinary faces for being one of the head members in the council.
Considering all the above points on the face of my conscious judgement, I am resigning from
my post as the sports captain of Podar International School Nanded, 2021-22. I’d like to
request that there is no mention of me as the sports captain of the school on any kind of
flyers or banners or any public display. Thank you for hearing me out on my resignation.

Regards,
Former Sports Captain,
Sandesh Sharma
