Challenge Speech Ante
First, this will be your home for years, make the best relationship with your
students, teachers and stakeholders. Accept their differences and be open-
minded with the changes in your environment.
Second, focus on the problem, not on the personalities. You're looking for a
solution, not for a culprit. A constant reminder to not listen to what others say, but
stick on to your principle and be firm about your decision.
Third, be courteous, but don't sugarcoat the problem. Describe the effect it's
having on others, especially to students.
Fourth, Keep your conversations or decisions strictly confidential. You cannot
control what others say, but nothing should come from you.
Fifth, rather than impose a resolution, look to the participants to come up with
one together. This is their problem to resolve, and you are simply a mediator.
And finally, make it clear that you expect improvement and will monitor progress.
On behalf of teachers, staff and students of this institution, I would like to extend a warm
welcome to our school head. We are excited to have you as our new principal and look
forward to the positive changes you will bring to our school. We hope that with your
energy, enthusiasm and focus on education and learning our institute achieves greater
excellence. Under your leadership and guidance, may we reach the next levels of glory.
Once again, congratulations and welcome to Kibatang National High School, Ma’am/Sir
(Name of Principal).
