EVGA SE Guide

In this guide, I will be teaching you how to

successfully obtain nearly any item from EVGA.
Now here are some basic requirements:
(you will find that some of them are color coded so
you can easily find what you are looking for)
a Computer
a brain (optional)
fake Amazon.com Invoice
a prepaid VISA (Mastercard/AMex works too) gift card (with at least $0.50
balance)
At least $30 to pay for the Advanced RMA option for your product
(must come in the form of a credit card or debit card, as explained later)
SN for your desired product (easily obtained from ebay)
Vocab:
SE - Social Engineer/Engineering
RMA - Return merchandise authorization (basically them sending you
the product)
SN - Serial Number, used to identify your product from others.
Brain - A giant pile of meat inside your head, usually.

Now you may think, JESUS! I need so many things in

order to do this, but, think about what you are getting,
you can easily end up with 10x what you started with.
Serial Number
So first off, you are going to want to get a SN for your
item, for teaching purposes, we will say you are trying
to SE a GTX 980 TI.
Step 1: Ebay.com, search for your item.

Step 2: Find a listing that has a publicly exposed SN.

You are going to want to enhance the picture as best as

you can, and then write down the SN for later use.
Fake Amazon Invoice
Once you start and request an Advanced RMA, EVGA
will require you to send proof of purchase of the item,
in this case, we will use Amazon. Go to
http://garett.me/amazon/gen.php and type in a
legitimate order number, it doesn’t matter what you
ordered, it just has to be real. You will now need to
find your order on amazon, then fill out everything
based on what you see on Amazon. Make sure to fill in
everything.
Once you have created your invoice, you will now get
“lightshot” the program to take a screenshot, from
app.prntscr.com/download.html. Then, take a
screenshot of the invoice and save it for later, make
sure not to include the URL in the screenshot.
Prepaid VISA card
You need to have a VISA gift card to put on file to
hold while you receive the item. You can buy one in
almost any convenience store, CVS/Walgreens/etc. I
recommend buying a $35 one and using it to pay for the
RMA and then putting that card on file, you can usually
choose to put a custom amount on it in the store. I
prefer to use OneVanilla prepaid VISA gift cards as
you can register them online.
Once you log in OneVanilla, you must register the card.

Time for the JUICY STUFF!

Now onto the actual SE. Proceed to EVGA.com and
register an account, make sure it is a real email adress
as you will be recieving and sending emails from it.

They will ask for a bunch of information, just fill it in.

They will then send an email to activate your account,
just click the link in the email, after it, you will also
receive another email.
After activating your account, you will need to register
your product onto your account. Go to the EVGA
homepage, make sure you are signed in, click member,
and then “Product Registration”.

Then, enter the SN that you acquired earlier. If it says

that the SN is already registered, then you have to go
and find a new SN.
Fill out everything besides Affiliate Code, and click
submit. Make sure that you put the “Date Purchased”
to a very recent date, 2-3 days before current date.

Click “Skip and Complete Registration” on the next

page. Tt will ask you if you want to buy EVGA Advanced
RMA, accept the terms, and choose how fast you want
the shipping to be.
After you choose and proceed, you will then have to
input your credit/debit/prepaid card info and the
billing address that matches the one registered to your
card. NOTE!: DO NOT PUT THE CARD THAT HAS
$0.50 IN HERE! THIS IS WHERE YOU ACTUALLY
HAVE TO PAY!

You will now see a screen similar to the next

screenshot, this means you have successfully
registered your product, and you are ready to file a
RMA.
Call the number 888-881-3842 and tell them that your
product doesn’t work, and if they ask you to
troubleshoot, just pretend that you are. An example
would be, “my graphics card will not work with my
computer, whenever I boot up, it defaults to my APU
graphics and I can’t find the card anywhere in bios.”
The rep might ask for your computer specs, you can
just make that up, or say you don’t know. They may also
ask for serial number, just have that ready. You can
also do all of the above by ticket by going to
http://www.evga.com/support/ticket/support.aspx ,
and clicking “Submit Ticket”, but it will be slower. You
don’t have to put any pictures, just fill out everything
that is required. The rep will give you a ticket/support
number and you are ready to go.
You can then proceed to submit a RMA by going back to
the EVGA homepage, clicking member, and choosing
“My Products”

You will now see the item that you linked to your
account, click “View Details”, and click submit Advanced
RMA.
You will now wait, once EVGA replies, you will be
notified via email, and then, they will ask you for
Amazon invoice, just provide them the picture, and also
provide them with your prepaid card. ($0.50+ balance)
They will then confirm everything with you, and you will
be waiting mindlessly for your EVGA product to ship to
you! :)
Note: This can be done once per address.
