MODIFICATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Refer to figure 1)

a. Lower the tailcone access door.

b. Raise hook (3) on control mechanism and remove riser from hook.

c. Locate and drill hole (13 in frame (9) in accordance with

dimensions shown.

d. Attach riser keeper (7), small loop end, to frame (9)-using screw (8),
washers (4), spacer (6) and nut (5) as shown in detail A.

e. Boute riser 01 thro~h lar~e loop of riser keeper.(7).

f. Raise hook (3) on control mechanism and insert riser loop over hook
and allow hook to return to the rest position,

g. Raise and secure the tailcone access door.

h. Complete the aircraft flight records in accordance with FAR 43.9.
