How I met my closest friend

Meeting a real friend is a difficult thing nowadays. But if you find one
you are very lucky, that's how I feel having found a true friend, since I
think that a friend is essential in your social life and also in general. I
didn't even count that friend was going to become the best person I've
ever met.
Meeting someone new always makes me anxious and seems boring,
and meeting this friend was no exception. My aunt invited my brothers
and I to a youth meeting at the church she attends, so we didn't know
anyone there. but they were all very kind to us and this person was the
same, so they introduced themselves and talked to us to find out about
us.
The meeting began and everything was going very well, that person
sat next to me and helped me look for the verses in the Bible since I did
not know the books of it very well. After the meeting we talked a bit
and exchanged social networks, and he wrote to me after a few days.
We talked a lot on Instagram, and I got to know him more and more,
and he and I became very close, sometimes we went out together with
the other young people and the anxiety and doubt about meeting
someone new went away.
Then we became almost like brothers, and trust grew and grew, he
took me very much into account in everything and supported me in
whatever I did, that made me feel safe because I had had bad
experiences with old friends, but he showed me that everything would
be fine and that I had seriously found a true friend.
Realizing that we found a true friend is somewhat difficult to
understand, but the moment the anxiety and boredom of thinking that
I had met someone else left, I knew that I had found a true friend and
he is the best person I´ve ever met, and now we have been more than 8
years being best friends.
