Topic : Type of Traditional Food in Malaysia.

( Traditional Food )

Intro :
- Malays, Chinese and various other ethnic groups have lived together for generations. These
different cultures have influenced each other, resulting in a unique blend of Malaysian cultures.
- The Malays are the largest ethnic group in Malaysia, comprising more than 50 percent of the
country's population.
- Malays are known for their friendliness and very rich art culture.
Body :
1. Malay food is nasi lemak
- Favourite food for Malaysians and Singaporeans, especially for breakfast.
- Nasi lemak refers to rice cooked using coconut milk, to add fat flavor.
- Malays eat nasi lemak with steamed eggs, cucumber, fried anchovies and sambal.
2. Chinese food is a mooncake
- Type of Chinese cake that is often eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
- According to the Chinese legend Kuih Bulan is based on a story that took place in China during
the reign of the Mongols (Yuan Dynasty) which was quite strict and cruel.
- Made from a sweet dough and has the core of lotus seeds or red beans or with salted egg yolks
3. Indian food is muruku
- Murukku is a traditional food of Malaysian Indians whose recipe comes from South India,
especially from Tamil Nadu.
- Murukku has taken place in the hearts of all the multi-racial communities in the country
- Murukku is made from Tosai Bean Flour/Urad dhal and rice flour and the taste depends on the
fan as the original or even spicy using chili powder.
Conclusion :
- In advancing this traditional food industry, we can diversify the existing food industry products.
- For example, Bahulu cake. In the past, Bahulu cake was popular only during the festive
seasons.
- Traditional food can be famous among the current generation
