    The following situation arises when liquids are drawn up in a micropipet:

    When water is drawn up, the liquid stays in the plastic tip of the micropipet. When
    ethanol is used in stead of water, a drop forms at the bottom of the tip. Explain this
    phenomena in terms of the theory done on Surface Chemistry.

    Make use of calculations, where necessary to prove your explanation.
