It is commonly believed that nowadays main factors that affect a child's

development are media, pop culture and friends. A different point of view is that
family plays the most significant role.

L.R.Knost once said “Instead of raising children who turn out okay
despite their childhood, lets raise children who turn out extraordinary because of
their childhood.”. The way your children get raised is one of the most affecting
things on their future. Social media, pop culture and surrounding friends may also
affect them. It will help them have high incomes, high happiness levels, academic
success, and a strong sense of morality. They may get raised by social media, pop
culture and surrounding friends. Or they may get raised affected by their family
spending time with them and how the family members behave.

Nearly all of the child’s time is spent with his\her family

members, so all the sources for information or any kind of mental input will be the
family members getting raised by. And that is enough to make him or her capable
of thinking, speaking his thoughts, dealing with his or her starter problem and
taking actions. He or she also get to have parents experience in life which will be a
strong weapon to face modern life difficulties with.

The child in his\her first years is just imitating the people

around. The actions and behavior of the people around slowly by time become his
or her behavior, so the parents must watch themselves before raising their children.
The child’s behavior depends on how the parents act not on what they tell.

Opposing views claim that other factors like social media,

popular culture, and friends have the most affection on the child’s growth instead
of the family. Social media surrounds us in every corner nowadays. It is hard to
avoid its effect on our children, as so their friends and the popular culture
surrounding. So it is the parent’s role to guide them which is the right to take and
do.

In conclusion, it is preferable to say that raising a child is not

easy; getting him or her ready to meet the society. But its the best way to make the
future better place with better people. And we as parents are responsible for this to
happen.
