“The Gap Generation of the Shaver and the Elder”

As a today’s youth, society is facing the problems of generation gap which is the major
reason’s why parents and children are moving away from each other. As we all know, the
environment has changed, so the life style and the mind op children also changes. As an
observation, today’s generation does not like others interfering in any of their personal matters;
they don’t like parents ordering them, and if they try and tell them whats wrong for them, they
misbehave with their parents. That’s why, Why is the reason behind of all this?

Generation gap is basically created by the people themselves. They don’t talk to their
children and share their own points of views with the children. The parents are just too busy with
their work and jobs that they don’t have time for their family and their children.They realize it
only when there has a huge distance between the kids and the parents. Kids are also more likely
to follow what they see. For example, if they see their older sibling or parent constantly on their
phone or laptop, they will do the same. Most kids today would rather stay inside and watch
television or play video games then go outside to play. If they learn these habits now, it will be
incredibly hard for them to break out of them. This will only lead the future generations
becoming more and more introverted and technology obsessed in the years to come. The bottom
line is that having kids and preteens grow up in a world that is so influenced by technology has
both good and bad effect on them. There is nothing wrong with their use of it, as long as it is
balanced with them doing activities that kids should be doing, like going outside and playing , or
reading a book. There is no escaping technology society just needs to learn how to use it in a
way that is more beneficial than it is harmful.

As the different attitude of life, the people belonging to the old generation always wonder
what has gone wrong with the new generation. They feel that during their time, young boys and
girls were better behaved, more obedient and had greater respect for elders. Young people feel
that they are capable enough to learn on their own rather than lean on the older generation for
any guidance. The generation gap between parents and their children really refers to poor
communication. It is worth noting that the generation gap does not always apply to all families.
Most often it comes down to the parents and the children having different opinion and values,
which by itself is not necessarily a problem. Parents should understand this thing that children
need some space. They should keep an eye on children but should not impose on them any
restrictions.
 Lack of communications is the biggest reason for generation gap thus firstly members in a
family should decide to spend time with each other whether on the dining table, so that they can
connect with each other and try understand others area of interest including their morel and
values. New Generation should respect and value their elders by following his or her culture and
traditions. On the other side old generation and their preferences to make compatibility with
each other.

Each and every person, whether of any age, has its own area of interest with different moral
and values. It is now our own responsibility that how much we involved into it with making
balance between our personal and social life that is also as much important as any other thing in
life and it is the liability of new generation to learn the essence of life from old generation.
