    PROJECT : SCIENCE PARK PLOT 3


    SUBJECT : MOVEMENT / CONSTRUCTION JOINT

    1 RECOMMENDED AREA

    1.1 Movement Joint

    2 RECOMMENDED SURFACES
    2.1 Concrete surface shall be clean, dry, free of honey-combs, coating, oil or laitance.

    3 MATERIALS

    3.1 ADESILEX PG2 SP : 2 Component Epoxy adhesive

    3.2 SEAL EXPANSION JOINT : Flexatec 1200 Gap Width 50mm

    4 INSTALLATION OF FLEXATEC 1200 AT JOINT AREA

    4.1 Measure the length of the expansion joint, cut the Flexatec 1200 to desired length
    and glue the section before installing.

    4.2 Apply ADESILEX PG2 SP to both sides of the expansion joint at a thickness of
    1mm using brush and as well as the joint surface.

    4.3 Install the FlexAtec 1200 by squeezing it and press firmly into the construction
    gap

    4.4 Clean excess ADESILEX PG2 SP from top of Flexatec 1200 and sides of the joint
