    TASK 1 –LISTEN TO ME

    Directions: Listen to the following songs and identify its emotion.

    SOMEONE YOU LOVED by: Lewis Capaldi

    The speaker talks about being alone and how much they would like to have
    someone with them. Combining night and feeling abandoned, he denounces the person
    who is no longer there.

    IMAHE by: Magnus Haven

    This song reminds us of those who talked about having the right love at the
    wrong time, or having a lover labeled as the one who ran away. The speaker keeps

    referring to the time when he and his girlfriend had to part ways because of competing
    demands.

    VICTIMS OF LOVE

    The song recounts a romance that appears to have been in conflict, with both
    loves ultimately becoming victims. The speaker describes how they went from being
    simple and forgiving to giving up and losing the desire to hold onto their love.
