Test details - The test will be held in the following order: Listening (30 minutes), Reading (1h) and Writing (1h). No break is given between the three modules. You have been registered to take the Academic module. If you want to change your module, you must inform us in writing at least 5 working days before the test. Note! Given we offer limited places per module, your module change will be accepted only if there are vacant places for that particular module. All candidates must bring into the examination room the same identity document (ID) as the one recorded on the application form. Candidates who do not bring the same identification form will not be allowed to sit the test. Also, please bring with you a pencil, a pen and a rubber. For the Writing paper only you can use a pen or a pencil. You are not allowed to take any personal belongings into the test room. Do NOT take your mobile phone or any electronic equipment into the test room. You are ONLY allowed to have on your desk: your ID, a couple of pens and/or pencils, an eraser, pencil sharpener and water in a transparent bottle. No other items are allowed.

Absence - If you are absent from the examination please let us know, if possible, before the test day. The test fee will not normally be refunded unless there is one of the following exemptions: Serious illness e. g. hospital admission or serious injury (does not include minor illness such as a mild cold) Loss or bereavement death of a close family member Hardship/trauma victim of crime, victim of a traffic accident Military service In this case candidates must provide appropriate documentation no later than 5 working days after the test date. Please let us know, if possible before the day of the test, if you are already certain that you are not going to come. If the cancelation of the test is approved, an administrative fee of 25 will be charged.

Results Results are released 13 days after the test. You will receive only one copy of your Test Report Form. The test centre is not permitted to issue a replacement copy in the event of loss or damage. There are two options for you to receive the Test Report Form: You can collect it from the British Council, Network Central building in Bucharest, Calea Dorobantilor nr. 14 starting with Friday, 22 July after 14.00. Opening hours: Tuesday Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday 12.00 - 19.30 9.00 - 13.00 closed The certificates will be despatched by Fan Courier, free of charge, on Friday, 22 July. If you would like to receive your result by Fan Courier (0219336) please write your name, phone number and address on the courier AWB, provided by the Supervisor on the day of the test. Please note that it is your responsibility to contact the local courier office in case they do not find you at the address provided.

You will need to present your identification or if you want someone else to collect your result you should inform us in advance by e-mail or post.

Online Results: Also, you will be able to view your results online on Friday, 22 July after 14.00 you can access the following link http://ielts-results.britishcouncil.org/forms/frmMain.aspx and your results will be displayed. You will need your candidate number, ID/Passport number and date of birth, information which will be provided on your desk label on the test date. The official results certificate (Test Report Form) service will continue as well. The system will not display results older than 28 days. We are not permitted to give results out over the phone nor by fax or e-mail.

Enquiry on Results: If you are dissatisfied with your results you may apply for an Enquiry on Results procedure within 4 weeks of issue of results. You can choose to have one or more test paper/s remarked. For this you would have to complete a form (please contact us by phone, e-mail or in person) and pay a fee of 60, no matter how many papers are remarked. The full fee will be refunded if a result is changed to a higher band score. The remark is done in London by trained clerical markers and Cambridge ESOL - appointed senior examiners. In 6-8 weeks from your request you will receive an EOR feedback letter stating your final result status. If your result satisfies your needs and you would like us to send it to other institutions, you have to make a written request (posted, faxed or emailed) after receiving the Test Report Form. You should give us as many details as possible about the addressee (full address, file number, person in charge, if applicable). Please note that we are able to send up to 5 requests and the despatch is free of charge. Please DO NOT send your TRF to other institutions as you will not receive another one.
