Important points to be considered in the Management of Water system in the Pharmaceutical

company (Tablet Manufacturing)

1) Pressure test certifications of the storage vessels.

2) Scoops used in the water system should be rust free.

3) Chemicals used in the purification should the directly delivered from the chemical

manufacturers.

4) COA to be ensured for the chemicals which contains the minimum details of

Manufacturing date, expiry date, Grade. & Use-by date Once chemical is opened in the

vendor supplied containers.

5) Periodicity of various grades of Filters replacement.

6) Re-qualification periodicity and its rationale.

7) Analysis periodicity and results of Potable water, Raw water and Pharmaceutical grade

purified water.

8) Microbial analysis of purified water.

9) Rationale of the Hold time of the purified water for usage after sampling.

10) Co-relation between established hold time, analysis done and release and last time point

of usage.

11) Qualification of the personnel involved in the sampling of water form the various points.
