GenICam. It is possible to deploy the VJ Series to the existing
environment without any modifications to the existing system. The image
processing unit outputs inspection-ready images, thus reducing the
workload on the computer. Compatibility with the NBase-T (2.5 G)
communication standard makes high speed transfer of large images
possible.

VJ-3302
Using high-speed synchronization of the CMOS sensor and lighting direction, this
imaging method generates shape (irregularity) images and texture (surface pattern)
images by analyzing multiple image captures illuminated from different directions.

Pattern Dent
The brightness of depressed locations changes according to the direction of the lighting.
Patterned areas are flat, so there is little change in brightness.
The changes in light intensity of each pixel among the different images are analyzed to split the shapes
(irregularities) and textures (pattern) into separate images.

❚ Differentiation of cap types
In multi-spectrum mode, differences in color are extracted based on the intensity distribution for 8 colors, and
then converted to monochrome binarized images or 8-bit grayscale images.

Applications
Multi-spectrum imaging to differentiate subtle color differences
Specific colors can be extracted from similar colorings. Burns can be extracted separately from density changes due to
overlapping noodles.
Shape images and texture images can also be created by illuminating each of the 8 individual color LEDs separately (LumiTraxTM mode)
Imaging with only text clearly captured is possible. Because just the shape can be captured, inspection is possible even
when there is a background pattern.

Enables visualization of microdefects
Ultra high-speed synchronization of the CMOS sensor and the light emission pattern allow for the generation of multiple images from a single
image capture in accordance with the inspection details. A variety of surface defects that were previously only detected with the human eye
can now be visualized with inline measurement.
