Dear Parents and Students:

Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena (DLL), in its unwavering commitment to continue its delivery of accessible
and quality education is now prepared for the opening of limited face-to-face classes or hybrid learning modality for the
upcoming First Semester of SY 2022-2023. Part of this commitment is to ensure that all teaching and non-teaching
personnel who will report to the campus are fully vaccinated and the school facilities are compliant to health and safety
standards and conducive to teaching-learning environment.

To ensure the safety of all stakeholders, the following guidelines shall be strictly implemented:

1. All DLL students are required to attend face-to-face classes in all Major and Professional Subjects while General
Education subjects will be taught online. For face to face classes with 40 enrolled students or more, this will be
divided into 2 groups.
2. Major examinations (midterm and finals) in all subjects will be taken and administered ON SITE.
3. DLL students who have significant co-morbidities are enjoined to consider taking their classes online, provided
that they are assessed by the College Nurse and certified by the Public Health Physician of the City Government
of Lucena.
4. Parents and guardians have to sign Consent Form before the start of classes to signify that they allow the
students to attend on site classes.
5. Upon entry at the school premises, students must observe the following protocols:
a. Screening at the triage area for temperature check.
b. Face mask must be worn at all times.
c. Before entering the classroom, students must sanitize their hands by alcohol or by handwashing with
soap and water. Everyone is encouraged to clean their hands frequently.
d. Proper social distancing must be observed.
e. The students are not allowed to change the chair arrangement in each classroom.
f. No students are allowed to loiter inside the campus.
g. An isolation room is available when circumstance requires.
h. A surveillance team will conduct continuous monitoring of COVID19 cases in the institution.
6. Each classroom has three (3) separate closed bin for used toxic and hazardous, biodegradable and non-
biodegradable waste.
7. If upon screening by the school nurse, the student has a fever or any respiratory symptoms, he/she will be sent
home after receiving treatment.
8. All DLL students who are still unvaccinated or partially vaccinated are encouraged to complete their vaccination
for their safety.

Role of the parents

The parents/guardians of DLL students shall:
1. Ensure the health condition of their children before allowing them to go to school.
2. Consistently remind their children of the safety protocols and safe distancing at all times.
3. Ensure that their children bring their own health kits at all times.
4. If possible, prepare food for their children to bring to school to avoid leaving the campus.
5. Sign the Consent Form that they are allowing their sons/daughters to attend limited onsite classes.
6. Inform the institution about their children’s condition if they have COVID-19 symptoms.

Role of the students

The DLL students shall:
1. Follow the safety protocols of the institution at all times.
2. Cooperate with all the procedures required by them to observe at all times.
3. Sign the Consent Form.
4. When attending onsite classes, students must wear approved institutional attire. i.e. white polo shirt with the
embroidered school logo with ID.
5. Follow the existing rules and regulations set forth by the institution’s Student Handbook.
6. Inform the institution about his/her condition if he/she has COVID-19 symptoms.
