HOW TO DYNAMICALLY EMPHASIZE ITEMS IN

POWERPOINT SLIDE SHOWS WITH ZOOM FEATURE


For Office 365 on Windows and MacOS

Design Base Slide

•Make sure it is EXACTLY how you want the slide to look

Duplicate The Slide

•As many variations as you plan to show

Customize Duplicated Slides

•Add the customized highlights for each slide

Use ZOOM Action Icon

•Find ZOOM Action Icon it in the INSERT Ribbon Menu


•Choose SLIDE ZOOM from dropdown menu

Select Supporting Slides

•Once inserted, RESIZE them as a group


•Make small
•Then one by one, position them for clickable hotspot

Change Characteristics

•Select Zoom object and in Windows click the ZOOM context menu; for Mac,
click ZOOM TOOLS context menu
•Turn OFF Zoom Transitions
•Turn ON Return to Zoom

Change Image

•In ZOOM Context Menu (ZOOM TOOLS for Mac), select CHANGE IMAGE
•Consider using transparent PGN for a hidden look
•Google search for “transparent empty png” or go to

•Turn off Border: In ZOOM / ZOOM TOOL context menu, click: ZOOM BORDER
and select No Border
