The concept of faithfulness is an attribute that has one of the greatest power to strengthen and grow

any human relationship and also has the capacity to mar it when deficient. It is a quality that comes
from a place of trust and loyalty, and according to Merriam Webster dictionary, faithfulness is the act of
being firm in adherence to promises or in observance of duty. It is also the state of being full of faith in
the sense of steady devotion to a person, thing or concept.

It is important to note that the bedrock of faithfulness lies in loyalty and consistency in practice
regardless of every extenuating circumstance that will stand to deter one from achieving a set goal.

Faithfulness can be seen in the life of a mother and her devotion to her children. The patience and love
with which she raises them with even in times when they err and faulted.

It may be exhibited by a husband or wife who does not engage in sexual relationships outside the
marriage. A husband and wife who is open to each other and have the trust to share every secret.

Faithfulness can also be seen in God's undying love for us. The manner with which He fathers us, how He
loves us unconditionally, His patience towards us even in our sin and filthiness, His stays committed in
loving and cherishing us.

The benefits of faithfulness as an attribute that cannot be over emphasized. it exhibits itself in these
various ways as:

loyalty: the quality or state or an instance of being loyal; unswerving in allegiance: such as: a aithful in
allegiance to one's lawful sovereign or government

trustworthiness: worthy of confidence : DEPENDABLE

steadfast love: This is a kind of love that is not subject to change

patience: the capacity, habit, or fact of being patient; bearing pains or trials calmly or without
complaint.

commitment: the state or an instance of being obligated or emotionally impelled.

Faithfulness gives us a sense of trust, confidence and certainty. It gives a relationship the belief that we
can count on a person to be true and to be there for us and that others can count on us to be true,
faithful and be there for them. Faithfulness proves you to be dependable, trustworthy, and consistent.
You stay the course. You keep plodding forward even during those seasons when you seem to get no
encouragement and it feels like nothing is going right

consequently, just as Marcus Tullius Cicero said, "nothing is more noble, nothing more venerable than
fidelity. Faithfulness and truth are the most sacred excellences and endowments of the human mind," it
is important we all wear this wonderful attribute called Faithfulness as a cloth for a healthy and better
relationship with our fellow humans and God.
