Grade

Cat Grade w/ 2D: Depth and slope guidance system

Benefit all applications requiring to reach a given grade (digging trench, digging hole, grading leveling) by providing
indication of the bucket position versus this grade.

Cat Grade w/ Advanced 2D: Depth and slope guidance system with extra capability to create in field design
Benefit all applications requiring to reach a given grade (digging trench, digging hole, grading leveling) by providing
indication of the bucket position versus this grade. The capability to create in field design give the opportunity to the
operator to be autonomous by being able to create from the cab the required design.

Cat Grade w/ 3D: The three-dimensional machine guidance system.

Benefit all applications requiring to reach a given grade (digging trench, digging hole, grading leveling) by providing
indication of the bucket position versus this grade. The 3D system must be considered to complete 3D complex design.

2D E-Fence
E-Fence Ceiling: Automatically constraint boom, stick and bucket motion not to exceed a predefined height.
Benefit all applications where there is a height limit not to exceed (power line, bridge, etc…)

E-Fence Wall: Automatically constraint boom, stick and bucket motion not to exceed a predefined reach
Benefit all applications where obstacle prevents to extend the front parts at maximum reach (ex: working near
building/construction)

E-Fence Floor: Automatically constraint boom, stick and bucket motion not to exceed a predefined depth

Assist
Grade assist: Automatically control bucket and boom motion at a predefined grade when stick is moved
Benefit all applications requiring to reach a given grade (digging a trench, digging a hole, Grading/leveling) by
preventing overcutting. Greatly ease operation and reduce operator fatigue in all these applications by completely
removing the need to control simultaneously multi operations (i.e. bucket/stick/boom motions).

Bucket assist: Automatically control the bucket to maintain a predefined angle versus the ground when stick and/or
boom are moved
Benefit all applications requiring to create a flat floor (digging a trench, digging a hole, Grading/leveling, backfilling).
Ease operation and reduce operator fatigue in all these applications by allowing operator to only concentrate on
boom/stick multi operation.

Boom assist: Automatically control the boom up to avoid stick cylinder to stall while digging or tracks to be lifted.
Automatically limit boom down motion to prevent tracks to be lifted.
Benefit all applications requiring to fill the bucket (truck loading, digging trench, digging hole, backfilling) or requiring to
compact the ground using boom down motion (grading/leveling).

Swing assist: Automatically stops swinging motion at a predefined angle.

Benefit all applications requiring intensive use of swing operation in particular at full speed (truck loading, digging a
trench) by automatically managing swing deceleration. Ease operation and reduce operator fatigue by allowing them to
fully activate swing joystick w/o having to manage deceleration.

Payload- Cat Production Measurement
Caterpillar Production Measurement: Calculate and record the payload moved while swinging
Benefit all applications (truck loading, digging a trench, digging a hole) requiring to track productivity and/or reach a
predefined payload. Support operators and fleet managers thanks to on-board and off-board reporting capability (subject
to specific subscription).

Static weigh: Weighs payload when machine is stationary

Benefit applications requiring to lift object (lifting/pipe laying) by providing an indication of the weight while machine
doesn’t swing. This information can be used by operator not to exceed capability of the machine and prevent tipping.
