A. Safety, Environmental and Quality Control Culture, and Performance

All aspects required by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and AWS and NDT standards are controlled
by the ASE Integrated Management System. The main QA measures for controlling site welding
associated with NDT activities are: controlling Welding inspector qualifications, validness of test
equipment and test material, effectiveness of test procedures, effectiveness of inspection program,
monitoring actual Welding performance by quality surveillance inspectors, and a culture of safety.

Personnel qualifications

Inspector qualification is essential to a reliable inspection, and it is also mandatory required by regulatory
bodies. ASE has such Welder personnel qualification system that meets our client requirements specific to
AWS Certified Welding Inspectors. In order to fulfil the ARAMCO Welding Inspections Support For 2022
Outage scope of work, our AWS welding inspectors hold relevant qualification certificates and well
qualified.

Test Equipment and material

Test equipment and material are very important for Welding applications associated with NDT. We
developed and purchased all necessary equipment and materials for our services, including XXXX. These
equipment and materials are mainly used in welding construction industry for fixed equipment and piping
spool and/or components.

ASE has an equipment calibration system that meets applicable international standards. Periodic
calibration of test equipments are carried out and documented so that their accuracy are identified and
controlled.

Test materials are controlled so that they are valid for tests, and have no harmful to the component
tested.

Test procedure

Test procedures define the responsibilities, techniques, operational steps and control means for specific
method of testing and test objects. ASE has establishes a series of test procedures for different tasks,
which we consider is necessary for carrying out quality services of testings.

Our Welding and NDT procedures contain the latest updated procedures and include all applied ASME V,
ASME IX, ASME B31.3 discipline requirements. These procedures are the core of ASE’s QA system and
ensure a controlled and repeatable Welding and NDT application that satisfies both our client’s inspection
and code requirements.

Inspection Program

Our inspection program includes a comprehensive approach to testing. All our experts are cross-trained
as AWS Welding and ASNT Level II NDT inspectors. We believe in providing high quality services
performed by inspectors that are well versed not only in inspection techniques but also in damage
mechanism affecting various process components within the specific industry. This helps in performing
high quality tests and generating reports that provide details of findings and recommendations to
maintain and increase asset life.

We also have an incentive scheme set up to encourage and reward quality and safe practices.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

As an important quality assurance measure, quality surveillance inspectors are assigned to verify the
effectiveness of actual performance of Welding activities associate with NDT. The surveillance inspectors
have very good background knowledge of Welding and NDT, they check the prerequisite of testing for a
specific task, including Welder examiner's personnel qualification, status of test equipment and materials
to be used, test procedures adapted, inspection program adapted, and the monitoring of actual
performance. They make sample checks to major test performance to verify if the test procedures are
followed by the Welder examiners. They check also the test results to verify if the results are correct and
the regulatory requirements are met.

Regularly scheduled field and report auditing is conducted to ensure our AWS Certified Welding
inspectors are performing and providing our clients with high quality information that meet/exceeds all of
their requirements. ASE also has an AWS and ASNT certification program which verifies levels of
competency in inspectors who are certified in various Welding and NDE disciplines.

QA/QC works are performed to ensure that the NDT deliverables meet or exceed our client’s quality
requirements.

A Culture of Safety

ASE fosters a culture of safety in which everyone believes all accidents and injuries are preventable and
all employees understand their accountability for maintaining a safe and healthful workplace. We are
committed to ensuring the highest regard for the health, wellness, and safety of it’s employees,
contractors, customers, and the public.

Through collaboration and cooperation between all levels of the company, ASE’s management makes
sure the company meets or exceeds industry standards and complies with applicable occupational health
and safety legislation.

ASE supervisors are held accountable for the health and safety of their workers. This includes ensuring
personnel receive proper training both for machinery and equipment, and work practices and procedures.
Through working in compliance with both legislation and established workplace practices, our employees
protect not only their health and safety, but the health and safety of others.

fluid service

Inspection and Test Plan, Welding Procedures, and NDT Procedures shall be submitted and approved
before the start of the work.

NDT reports for the inspected joints shall be submitted to assigned ARAMCO Inspector or his designated
3rd party welding Inspector for review and acceptance at the end of each shift.

A full report will be issued in hard copy and electronic copy within two (2) weeks after the inspection is
done.
