– Yarn, I used sport weight, 5 ply
cotton yarn; Drops Safran.
– Crochet hook 2.5 mm
– Fibrefill / toy stuffing
– Stitch markers, scissor and
embroidery needle

Make 7 chains.
Rnd 1: Start on the second chain from
the hook; 5 sc, 3 sc in last chain, turn and
work on the opposite side of the chain,

Stuff the head with filling. Keep rest of

Place 7 mm security eyes between round

7 and 8. It should be 11 stitches between
the eyes. Note! The distance is important,
otherwise the head shield will not fit. If
you are un-sure, make the head shield
before attaching the eyes!
Where the color change from beige to
mossgreen should be the bottom of the
head.

assembly
• Press the head against the body, and
sew it together from the round where
the back loops are. See picture.
• Sew two legs on each side of the
body from round 10. Approx. 3-4
stitches between them.
• Sew the tail to the body from round
8, centered at the back.
• Sew the head shield on the head,
starting from where the mossgren
color starts, to the neck.
• Sew the body shield where the head
shield ends on the neck, to the tail.
• The body shield will not be cover the
whole tail. You will still see a small
part of the green tail. Take the yarn
tail from the body shield and sew
some strokes to cover this area. See
picture. (You can even tighten the
threads so the ball points upwards.)
• Sew the horns to the side of the head.
Two on each side. The top one will
be placed on the edge of the head
shield. The second one will be placed
1,5-2 stitches below. See it closer on
next page.
