Identify the primary customer(s) of your project/process
List customer requirements which define the “problem”
List the process outputs (deliverables) which provide the
customer with a satisfactory CTQ (requirements)
Name the high level process which delivers this key output
Clarify start and stop (boundaries) of the process
Identify, name and order the major process steps
List other key outputs of this process and customers
List key inputs and associated suppliers
Work twice. Once from Customers to Suppliers (Forward). Next
from Suppliers to Customers (Backwards)
