a career in logistics
Students selected for a career with ITC will join as Graduate Logistics Trainees. They will
be on probation for a period of one year. During the probation period, they will undergo
training and upon successful completion of training they will be positioned as Logistics
Officers. the students must have a high learning orientation to be ready for independent
positioning and get confirmed as Logistics Officer.

As Graduate Logistics Trainees, they will be exposed to the Selling and Distribution
system and Warehousing & Transportation processes. They will be positioned in
warehouses and will be expected to perform execution of orders, inventory and placement
of vehicles. Once confirmed as Logistics Officers, they will be responsible for performance
of the warehouse allocated to them. They will also be expected to deal with Transporters.
Warehouse Service Providers and the internal Marketing team.

professional growth
Trainees will be placed in warehouses in ITC. Basis their good performance they
can look at being promoted as Logistics Officer, Executives, Area Managers, Regional
Managers and beyond. Please note that growth across the organization is factor of
performance and mobility.

location
Candidates will initially be positioned in any of ITC’s locations in the Western Region
(Maharashtra). Though the candidates will be employed for a particular location, they should
be open to relocation across any geography whenever need arises.

qualifications
We are looking for final year students currently pursuing BE/B.Tech with specialization in
Mechanical and Industrial/Production Engineering

selection process
The selection process will entail shortlisting basis academic results, online aptitude test,
group discussion and personal interview.

remuneration
Gross remuneration will be Rs. 4 lacs per year for Graduate Logistics Trainees (during the
probation period of 1 Year)
