Waterseperator alarm unit

Description:

If any water is in the fuel, the engine will

not run. Water will damage the delicate
internal components, since rust will set in.
Water enters into the fuel system by natural
moisture in the air, condensing into the
fuel. Therefore, all diesel engines must have
an oil water separator in the fuel system, to
completely remove all the water. The
waterseperator alarm unit measures by
conductance the amount of water in the
drain and give an alarm if the maximum
level is reached.
The waterseperator alarm unit has an
indication light on top of the module that
displays the ‘power on’ status (green light)
and if the alarm unit is in the alarm status the led turns into red. This model has a
galvanic isolated power supply so there is a galvanic isolation between the input and
the
power supply.
