Then Allah's Apostle returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating
severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, "Cover me! Cover me!"
They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that
had happened and said, "I fear that something may happen to me."

Translation:

Translation:

By the demon called Al-Abyad (the White One), he was referring to the one that
used to come to the Prophet (pbuh) in the form of Gabriel (the angel) wanting to
seduce him.

Translation:

The Messenger of Allah said to Khadija: "When in seclusion, I hear someone calling
and saying, O Muhammad, O Muhammad".. and I fear that it is one of the djinns.

Satanic Verses

Satan..put upon his tongue 'these are the exalted Gharäniq whose intercession is
approved.' When Quraysh heard that, they were delighted and greatly pleased at
the way in which he spoke of their gods and they listened to him; while the believers
were holding that what their prophet brought them from their Lord was true, not
suspecting a mistake or a vain desire or a slip..
Satanic Prostration
Muhammad and his followers bowed down in honor of receiving this satanic revelation.
‫ وﺳﺠﺪ ﻣﻦ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﺴﺠﺪ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﺸﺮﻛﯿﻦ‬، ‫ ﻓﺴﺠﺪ اﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤﻮن ﺑﺴﺠﻮد ﻧﺒﯿﮭﻢ ﺗﺼﺪﯾﻘﺎ ﻟﻤﺎ ﺟﺎء ﺑﮫ واﺗﺒﺎﻋﺎ ﻷﻣﺮه‬، ‫ﺳﺠﺪ ﻓﯿﮭﺎ‬
‫ ﻗﺪ ذﻛﺮ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ‬.. ‫ ﻓﻠﻢ ﯾﺒﻖ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﺴﺠﺪ ﻣﺆﻣﻦ وﻻ ﻛﺎﻓﺮ إﻻ ﺳﺠﺪ‬، ‫ ﻣﻦ ﻗﺮﯾﺶ وﻏﯿﺮھﻢ ﻟﻤﺎ ﺳﻤﻌﻮا ﻣﻦ ذﻛﺮ آﻟﮭﺘﮭﻢ‬،
‫آﻟﮭﺘﻨﺎ ﺑﺄﺣﺴﻦ اﻟﺬﻛﺮ‬

...the Muslims prostrated themselves when their prophet prostrated confirming

what he brought and obeying his command, and the polytheists of Quraysh and
others who were in the mosque prostrated when they heard the mention of their
gods, so that everyone in the mosque believer and unbeliever prostrated..
..'Muhammad has spoken of our gods in splendid fashion..'
Allah's Response
"Don't worry about it Muhammad. All prophets proclaim Satanic messages from time to
time."
.. ‫ ﯾﺎ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﻣﺎذا ﺻﻨﻌﺖ ؟ ﻟﻘﺪ ﺗﻠﻮت ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﻨﺎس ﻣﺎ ﻟﻢ آﺗﻚ ﺑﮫ ﻋﻦ ﷲ‬: ‫ ﻓﻘﺎل‬، ‫وأﺗﻰ ﺟﺒﺮاﺋﯿﻞ اﻟﻨﺒ ّﻲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ‬

‫ ﻛﻤﺎ أﻟﻘﻰ‬، ‫أﺣﺐ إﻻ واﻟﺸﯿﻄﺎن ﻗﺪ أﻟﻘﻰ ﻓﻲ أﻣﻨﯿﺘﮫ‬ ّ ‫ﺣﺐ ﻛﻤﺎ‬
ّ ‫ﺗﻤﻨﻰ ﻛﻤﺎ ﺗﻤﻨﻰ وﻻ‬
..‫ ﻓﻨﺴﺦ ﷲ ﻣﺎ أﻟﻘﻰ اﻟﺸﯿﻄﺎن‬، ‫ﻋﻠﻰ ﻟﺴﺎﻧﮫ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮫ وﺳﻠﻢ‬
Then Gabriel came to the apostle and said, 'What have you done, Muhammad? you
have read to these people something I did not bring you from God..
So God sent down (a revelation), for He was merciful to him, comforting him and
making light of the affair and telling him that every prophet and apostle before him
desired as he desired and wanted what he wanted and Satan interjected something
into his desires as he had on his tongue. So God annulled what Satan had suggested..

َ ُ�‫�ُ آﯾَﺎﺗِ ِﮫ َو ﱠ‬ ‫ﱠ‬
Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a
desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything
(vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for
Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom

When thou dost read the Qur'an, seek Allah's protection from Satan the rejected
one. No authority has he over those who believe and put their trust in their Lord.
His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with
Allah.
