Exercise 02: Create a DI Workspace in Tosca Commander

Objective:

➢ By the end of this exercise, you will be able to create a Workspace in Tosca Commander .

Why is this important?

➢ To execute tests using Tosca DI, it is necessary to create a new Workspace in Tosca Commander.

Instructions:

1. Open Tosca Commander and select the PROJECT menu in the top left corner. ❑

2. Select New to create a new Workspace. ❑

3. Name the new Workspace Tosca DI Specialist Training. ❑

4. Ensure the Use workspace template box remains unchecked. ❑

5. Click OK. ❑

Hints:
➢ For this training, the “Standard.tsu”, the “Tosca Data Integrity Modules and Samples.tsu” Subsets are
NOT required. We have provided a training base Subset which includes the required Modules that
you have to import in a later exercise. If you import these Subsets, you will have duplicate Modules
in your Workspace and you will need to do a Module merge.
