Internet Café PROJECT PROPOSAL

Business Plan
Location
 Kabitaka
 Best located on a central place, a house on any street nearest to the shops for easy access.
Merits
 It will be the first business of its kind in this area so zero competition.
 Prices inexpensive enough to accommodate anyone needing access to things like ECZ
results checking, email setting up, and so on.
 Unique to this kind of business is the fact that an internet café is extremely easy to put up.
Furniture and hardware can be assembled and set up within a day or two depending on
how decorative you would like to go and software can be installed within minutes
depending on how elaborate you would like your user interface to be (easy access of
social media like Facebook, Youtube and online marketplaces like Ebay, Amazon and so
on).
 Requires little maintenance. Cable management and maintenance is significantly reduced
by using a wireless connection for computer terminals and other peripheral devices like a
printer, photocopier and so on. Computer hardware and peripherals do not require regular
replacements unless users are slamming their fingers on keyboards and knocking down
monitors. Operating systems and application software can easily be reinstalled with old
purchased software licenses that can be shared among computers for reduced cost. This
keeps the cost of running the business relatively low.
 Also has the unique advantage of time. It can be conducted any hour of the day, any day
of the week on any holiday and tailored to fit into most people’s lives in the community
effortlessly for absolute convenience. For instance, it can be open as early as 6am for
teachers to compile and print school work and modules before heading out for work. It
can also close as late as 11pm to accommodate diverse knocking-off schedules affording
people enough time to compile, scan and print documents in advance for usage the
following day.
