Vietnam is renowned for its rice production and its abundant cuisine

with lots of rice-based dishes. This S-shaped country has traditionally

cultivated wet-rice for thousands of years.Nowadays, our country
produces and exports a large amount of rice to many countries around
the world,so we become the world’s leading rice producers in harvest
areas. That is the reason why Vietnam has an agriculture-based
economy. Taking advantage of this food resource, the Vietnamese have
created various kinds of foods made from rice like rice paper and
noodles. Our nation is so creative that we provide the world’s cuisine
with an endless list of dishes using rice-based ingredients such as Pho,
Bun Bo, Rice paper salad, Rolled rice paper, Com Tam, and so on. Some
of which are considered as the most scrumptious dishes in the world
because of their unique and unforgettable flavors. Being a Vietnamese,
i am so proud of our long tradition of rice production and excellent
cuisine.
