and it outlines the general area of study within which your research falls, referring to the

current state of knowledge and any recent debates on the topic. Discuss briefly but,

substantially and relevantly.

Research proposal is a simply a structured, formal document that explains

what you plan to research (i.e. your research topic), why it’s worth researching whereas

refers to your justification and how you plan to investigate it this includes the  practical

approach. Moreover it may be defined as  coherent summary of your proposed research,

setting  out the central issues or questions that you intend to address.

1. When doing a research proposal, what are the factors that we consider? Discuss briefly but

significantly and pertinently

The factors to be considered in wring research proposal include the interest, the

researcher/s must have an interest with regards to the topic; as well as originality lastly it

must have relevance with other studies so that you have a valid reason to conduct the

study, since it supports your proposed research study.

In our everyday we seek for new knowledge given that this knowledge may help

us in our different daily activities. You do not need to become an academe to be

a researcher, we people born to seek knowledge with the environment surrounding us.

ACTIVITY 12

1. At the end of the day, as a student studying Methods of Agricultural Research, you

consider yourself a future agriculturist and researcher. The research process essentially

begins within observation. Before a research problem comes into being, it is usually

preceded by this very important scientific activity. Observation is important in the life of

a scientist since this gives him an opportunity to capture a researchable subject of interest

from nature. Agricultural researchers usually observe these problems in the laboratory, in

the field, in a plantation, in a project or anywhere else outside his office where they make

the so-called situational analysis. Observation is the most basic sources of problems for

research purposes. Please provide a concrete explanation about agricultural research and

discuss your take always, learnings, insights in this subject.

In this subject I have learned a lot, academically and practically; I enjoyed this

subject with our funny/strict Dean of the college. This subject give me an insight about

the whole process of research, from Introduction up to conclusions and

recommendations. These learnings will help me to in my next years of studies, especially

in writing thesis dissertations. Moreover, the practical application of this subject reflects

that there is always a way to seek knowledge on our own; we are born for that, so it must

be applied to our lives.
