Wedding customs are different from country to
another. They are extremely important especially for the bride
and groom and their families. In Iraq, there are a lot of traditions
which people show in weddings to express their happiness. They
hold a big party inviting their friends, relatives and neighbours.
Furthermore, they bring various kinds of food. One of the most
famous customs is the bride always wears a white dress as a
symbol of purity. She also puts some henna in her hands. On the
