    San Miguel wards off Meralco, 113-108

    Fighting with their mighty shots and incredible rebounds, San Miguel Beermen dominated
    the Honda 47th Season PBA Commissioner's Cup, demolishing Meralco Bolts with their fiery
    113-108 victory on December 2 at PhilSport Arena in Pasig City.

    San Miguel led the first quarter, pouring their sizzling shots and making a gap of 16-7 with
    still 6:37 time remaining. Beermen ended the quarter with a core of 28-21.

    San Miguel continued their streak in the second quarter, showcasing their smart techniques
    that overpowered Meralco earning a shining 70-50.

    Bolts started to catch up in the third quarter but Beermen successfully warded them off,
    summarizing the match with 94-73.

    San Miguel got comfortable in the last quarter that allowed Meralco to steal the points and
    spotlight, leaving the Beermen with a close call of 113-108.

    San Miguel’s victory will allow them to enter the playoff facing No. 4 Converge.
