Order of operations
A way of remembering the order of operations is to use the shorthand BIDMAS:
Brackets Indices Division/Multiplication Addition/Subtraction
Example:Calculate 13 + 5 x 9 - 1B.
13 + 5 x 9 - 18 The multiplication is done first.
=13+45-18
