Some people think that there are things individuals can do to help prevent global climate change.

Others
believe that action by individuals is useless and irrelevant and that it is only governments and large business
which can make a difference. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

One of the issues diving the public opinion is whether each people are able to deter global
climate change or only governments and big corporate can solve the problem. Personally, I take
the view that the second perspective gives a rational opinion that will be demonstrate below.

On the one hand, it is believed that everyone in the world protect the earth from global climate
change by joining hands to recover the ecosystem owning to the fact that a lot of conscious
people who ignore problems of the whole world resulted in the low possibility of preventing
global climate changes since humans still endanger nature by recklessly despoiling and
plundering its riches leading to reducing the resources and seriously unbalancing the
ecosystem. As consequence, human’s life is menaced by humans. Drexel University
environmental sociologist Robert Brule claimed that civilians are just a part of restoring
ecosystems, we have to on natural conditions and other factors.

On the other hand, however, some people agree that each person is totally helpless to make
global climate becoming stable and there are just governments and large enterprises could
handle this due to the strict policies and large-scale organization which people have to deal
with and will scare of punishments that contribute to awareness of serious problems and
widely compliance of public leading to significant improvement of global climate than personal
work. As a result, ecosystems will be better and better by the hand of governments, unions and
large business. Base on the report of GEF (Global Environment Facilities), there are some
countries like Japan, China, Thailand, Poland, Swiss have handled the climate change by
collaboration of governments, associations and residents.

To sum up, whereas some argue that individual are capable of preventing global climate change
by many small acts, I tend to concur with those who believe that governments and large
business are the one who can only provide solutions.
