Solutions

Gear transmission Chain transmission Belt transmission

Consider the criteria to choose transmission solution:

- Need to be popular and easy to use.
- Overloading phenomenon appears. Belt transmission
- Less of noise.
- Simple structure.

Three phase electric motor Gasoline motor Diesel engine motor

The most utilization option is 3-phase electric motor.

Our customer donated for us a 3-phase electric motor with Three phase
power is 20 HP and it is suitable ( evidence in report). electric motor

CONCLUSION
ACHIEVEMENTS
- Ideate the design of the machine from customer’s needs.

- Ability to apply and apply well the mechanical software to design, calculate, measure, test and simulate.

- Understand and manipulate the steps to design and calculate in mechanical field.

- Ability to analyze errors, calculate, check duration, stress of the design and update, fabricate it from feedbacks of building
team.
LIMITATIONS
- The update of feeder is still not good enough because it will limit the number of input coconut.
- The solution for blowing coconut dust is still left.

RECOMMENDATIONS

- No need to sort the input ( ability to cut all type of coconut even the green coconut without stuck)
- Add more mechanisms to optimize and upgrade the machine like CAM.
