Cash Flow

Tally’s cash flow statement is a historical statement of


cash(including thouse with the Bank) moving in and
out of the business. It explains changes in cash by
listing those activities that increased cash and those
that decreased cash. When used with the Balance
sheet and profit &loss account, the cash flow
statement helps to access the reasons for differences
between net income and net cash flow from operating
activities as well as the effect of cash and non cash
investing and financing transaction.

Gateway of Tally> Display>cash>/fund flow> cash


flow.

Note: This produces a monthly cash flow Summary


that shows the cash Movement- inflow and outflow for
each month and the net flow.

1. Select a month and drill down by pressing enter.


2. Select(click) Detailed.
3. You have the cash flow for that month
4. For quartly (or for any other period e.g monthly)
cash flow.
5. Change period by pressing F2 :
6. Set the period eg., 1-1-98 to 31.12.98
7. Select(click) Auto Column.
8. Select Quartly (or Monthly or any other period)
9. You have your columnar cash flow.

Create Company>Godwans> items without quantity

Ledger – Sale, Purchase, Capital, Rent, weiges, Salary.
