Quick Start Guide Operation

1519 Release Beacon


There is no power switch on the 1519 release beacon.

Unless advised your beacon will be supplied with the battery disconnected and set to default ID: 0001

To turn the unit on, the battery must be connected within the beacon.

Installation:

Did the 1519 Release ever work?
Unique Channel ID’s
If the answer is yes, either the battery is discharged or the unit is faulty. Look for mechanical damage.
0001 to 1024
Try resetting the beacon by removing the battery and leaving it disconnected for 30 seconds before

Get ID: In order to communicate with a 1519 the ID must be known. If unknown ‘Get ID’ Main Body O-Ring Part Number MEH000025
can be used to identify the beacon.
Set ID: To set the ID of the 1519.
Reset: To reset and clear all status flags within the 1519.
Battery Status 1519 returns battery levels.
Nominal Battery Pack Voltages are 6.0V Receiver and 18.0V Transmitter
Motor Status 1519 returns motor status
Arm To Arm the beacon prior to Release
Release / Prime To Activate the release, which will rotate the motor on the release for three minutes
to unscrew the block from the shaft.
