The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to Scotland who visited four different attractions in Edinburgh.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Who on the earth does not like travelling? Become a tourist travelling to another country is must be one of the
wishing list of many people. Tourism and leisure are generally become important part of the contributors to
the economics of the country. Scotland is one example of country that can attracts people to visit by its
beautiful destinations, especially Edinburgh. There are many destinations in Edinburgh that people will
happily to visit, such as aquarium, castle, zoo, and festival.
According to the data, over the time there are fluctuations of the percentage of tourist who visited the attractions
at Edinburgh. We can see, the most favourite destinations is castle, which the percentage of the visiting
tourist up to more than 40% in 1995. But since 2000, the percentage of almost all of the attractions
decreasing, except Zoo attraction.
In conclusion, we see that the trend of visiting tourist for three attractions, namely aquarium, castle, and festival,
declining over the time. But, surprisingly, the zoo attractions, which has the lowest percentage of visiting
tourist sinc 1980, become more attractive since 2000, while the other declined.
