First chapter is the business.

The business
You can describe your business idea under this heading in a short paragraph.

Opportunity (the first subheading)


Explain your business idea with evidence from primary and secondary data. Why it is a viable business
opportunity to invest.

Description of the product or service


Give a description of product or service you plan to sell to the people. Do not include unnecessary information. You
can talk about the core benefit of the product or service, actual benefits, and augment benefits here.

Value proposition
How is value propositioned for customer? Explain why customer would choose your product or service.

Description of Business
Business name, ownership information, legal form of business and why you have chosen that legal form.
Advantages and disadvantages of the chosen legal form of business. Can include the vision, mission, objectives,
and values of the business.

Business model
Focusing on areas in the business model, describe the customer segments you have targeted and how you will be
delivering value to these segments, and you can also include revenue models.

Competitive advantage
Explain how and why your business will have competitive advantage focusing on core competencies.
Macro environment analysis
Use PESEL model to analyses macro environment. When you analyze, focus on the challenges and opportunities in
those factors to the industry you invest and your business.

 Incorporate literature when you use certain models to explain and in other areas as well.
